2) Coursework:

Candidates must complete a BACB-approved course sequence in applied behavior analysis.

3) Supervised experience:

Candidates must complete a specified number of supervised experience hours, typically around 1,500 hours.

4) Exam content:

The BCBA exam covers topics such as basic behavior-analytic skills, measurement, assessment, intervention planning, behavior reduction, clinical decision-making, and ethical considerations.

5) Exam format:

The BCBA exam is a computer-based test consisting of 160 multiple-choice questions, with a four-hour time limit.
